Central Kitchen Floor Manager TX - Stafford (Bilingual in English/Spanish)
The Bilingual Floor Manager will oversee daily operations within the central kitchen, ensuring production efficiency, adherence to food safety standards, and seamless team coordination. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and fluency in both English and Spanish to effectively communicate with a diverse team.
Function and Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and supervise daily kitchen workflows to ensure timely and efficient production.
- Monitor food production schedules, adjusting as needed to meet delivery deadlines.
- Enforce compliance with hygiene, food safety, and workplace safety standards (e.g., HACCP, FDA).
- Conduct regular quality control checks to maintain product consistency.
- Ensure kitchen equipment is properly maintained and in working order.
- Report and coordinate repairs or replacements for faulty equipment promptly.
Required skill and abilities
- High school diploma or equivalent required (Bachelor’s degree in Food Service Management, Hospitality, or a related field is preferred).
- Minimum of 3 years in a supervisory role in food production, catering, or central kitchen operations.
- Microsoft Word, Excel, as well as basic math skills is required
- Ability to clearly communicate in English and Spanish to guide a diverse team effectively.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time efficiently, and meet production deadlines.
- Flexible schedule, including early mornings, and weekends.
