We are seeking a reliable and skilled technician to support our fast-paced food production and
restaurant operations. This position plays a critical role in maintaining the safety, functionality, and
efficiency of our foodservice equipment and facility infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

  • Available to work 8 hour shift M-F between 5:00AM – 3:00 PM; weekend availability based on business needs
  • Install, relocate, and maintain kitchen and production equipment (e.g., mixers, pasta cookers, refrigeration units, dishwashers, packaging machines)
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and operational issues to reduce downtime
  • Perform equipment checks and ensure operation meets manufacturer specs
  • Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and schematics
  • Develop and follow preventive maintenance schedules
  • Maintain equipment history logs and analyze recurring issues
  • Create and manage spare parts inventory for new and existing equipment
  • Handle basic building maintenance tasks (plumbing, lighting, painting)
  • Fabricate or modify tools and parts using welding or other tools
  • Source replacement parts through vendors, retail, or online
  • Coordinate with external service vendors and contractors
  • Train kitchen staff on safe equipment use and routine care
  • Support continuous improvement projects and execute assigned tasks
  • Conduct safety inspections and uphold compliance with facility standards

Qualifications:

  • 2+ year experience repairing and maintaining commercial kitchen equipment
  • Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills
  • Welding or metal fabrication experience
  • Basic technical writing ability
  • Knowledge of machine safety devices, requirements and controls
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel)
  • Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
  • Available to work 8 hour shift M-F between 5:00AM – 3:00 PM with flexibility as needed
  • Lift up to 60 lbs. with or without assistance
  • Bilingual in English and Chinese/ Spanish is a plus
