Job Summary
We are seeking a diligent Quality Control Technician to oversee the safety and quality of our dumpling production. You will be responsible for inspecting raw ingredients, monitoring the production process, and testing finished products to ensure they meet our high standards and food safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities
• Conduct regular checks on the production line to monitor dough thickness, filling weights, and pleat integrity.
• Monitor and record critical control points, such as internal meat temperatures and metal detector checks (HACCP).
• Verify that machines and surfaces are properly cleaned and sanitized before production begins (Pre-op inspection).
• Maintain accurate daily logs for temperature, batch tracking, and quality deviations. Ensure audit readiness at all times.
• Inspect incoming ingredients for freshness and quality; manage First-In, First-Out (FIFO) rotation.
• Perform sensory testing (taste, texture, smell) on cooked samples from each batch.
Qualifications & Skills
• 1–2 years in Food Quality Control or a similar role in a commercial kitchen/manufacturing environment.
• Basic understanding of HACCP or GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) preferred. (We can train the right person).
• Ability to spot small inconsistencies in product appearance or paperwork.
• Must be able to firmly but professionally instruct the production team to stop or adjust if a product is not up to standard.

Pay Range: Starting at $25.00 - $28.00 per hour (Based on Experience)
Shift: One Shift per day, 40 hours per week
