We are now looking to fill the role of Payroll Specialist (On-site) to join our team and support the rapidly growing need of the company. The Payroll Specialist will work closely with internal Payroll and Accounting team to ensure smooth payroll operations and resolve any payroll-related issues.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the end-to-end payroll process for multiple restaurant locations, including calculating and processing employee wages, tips, and bonuses accurately and in compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with HR and other departments to maintain employee records and ensure data accuracy.
- Oversee timekeeping systems to accurately track employee hours worked, paid time off, and overtime, ensuring adherence to labor laws and company policies.
- Process and manage new hire onboarding, leave of absences, terminations, employee changes, timesheets and wage garnishments into the HRIS.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of federal, state, and local tax regulations related to the restaurant industry, including tip credits, payroll taxes, and reporting requirements, to ensure compliance and minimize tax liabilities.
- Reconcile payroll records, including tips, hours worked, and deductions, to ensure accuracy and resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for employee payroll inquiries, providing timely and accurate responses and resolving any payroll-related issues with professionalism.
- Work closely with restaurant managers, HR, and finance teams to ensure seamless payroll operations and alignment with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
- Complete any other tasks or assignments as required or assigned.
Requirements, Skills, and Abilities
- Five years’ experience processing payroll in a multi-company environment, knowledge of tax filing.
- Ability to communicate in English, and Chinese is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of payroll legislation and regulations
- Proficiency in payroll processing systems or HRIS system is required (ADP, Workday etc.), experience with ERP systems is preferred
- Experience in Timekeeping systems
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work both independently and in a team environment
- Self-motivated and strong attention to detail
